Free Ways to Help Animals

Making a difference doesn't have to cost you money. There are plenty of ways to give back by simply donating your time instead. When it comes to animals and the earth, that is the least we could do to give back. Change isn't possible with out time or commitment, that change starts with you.

Recycle, don't litter, and encourage others to do the same.

Littering is the number one cause of issues with animals and the environment today. The second is pollution from not recycling. An easy and highly effective way to help animals of every species is to implement keeping trash where it belongs and recycling into your daily routine, and make sure everyone around you does as well.

Visit Shelters and help spread the word about pets up for adoption.

If you have extra time in your day, go pay some eager furry friends a visit and spread the word to your Facebook friends, Snapchat, Instagram, etc. about pets in need of a loving home. The more one on one convincing your able to do, the better!

Volunteer at shelters/sign up for a foster program.

If your someone who has time on your hands, loves animals, and/or wants to make a difference or help fur babies find homes- consider visiting/contacting your local shelter, rescue, or sanctuary and signing up for an adoption or foster program. Not only will you be helping these animals have a good life but you'll learn them one by one and the more info you can provide another in regards to adoption, the better!

Clean up everywhere you go.

Litter is not only deadly for the environment- but for its wildlife as well. Foreign substances of many kinds that are made by humans can be extremely toxic if consumed by a wild animal, it also pollutes the environment around it. Keep trash bags with you or in your car and anytime you see trash or items in nature or where they don't belong- pick it up and dispose of it.

Try not to support chain industries and encourage others to do the same.

Instead visit shelters and research recues and sanctuaries. I realize adopting a pet involves spending money, but I still wanted to include this near the end to make sure its known where an easily accessible source to adopt from ethical companies can be found.
